Report upon Stamping of Documents", explaining how embossed stamps are currently applied to documents, advantages and disadvantages of embossed stamps, and of adhesive stamps cancelled by over embossing. The reverse page illustrates how escutcheons are affixed to a document before a stamp is applied over them, and bears a perforated 6d Imperium proof in purple and red with an illustration of over embossing applied over this. The piece dated "Oct. 23" with the number of leads written alongside each proof, further endorsed in red ink "These electros inserted in the stamped papers working originals" and dated "Oct 26th 1901".
