BASUTOLAND: Commercially used aerogrammes comprising 'SUID-AFRIKA' 3d with native's letter to a missionary serving with the MEF, 1949 'Basutoland' on 'SUID-AFRIKA' uprated to USA with KGVI 1½d pair tied by 'MAMATHES' cds, QEII '5c' on 6d to GB and 5c to Holland, also a few unused examples, 1968 airmail PPC to GB & what appears to be a crude 'phantom' on envelope addressed in French.

BECHUANALAND: 1890 mourning cover from 'TULBACH' (CofGH) with 'TAUNGS/BECHUANALAND' transit on face & poor 'KURUMAN' arrival b/s; 1895 CofGH 1d Envelope registered with 'TAUNGS' h/s in rosine & Cape ½d x16 on the reverse with fair 'TAUNGS' cds; 1895 with British Bechuanaland 2d tied by 'VRYBURG/BP' squared-circle & part 'MAFEKING/BECHUANALAND' arrival b/s; 1894 Cape ½d Postal Card uprated Kimberley-Vryburg with ominous message "...send permit for 500 rifle cartridges & 500 shot cartridges which I wish to take to Matabeleland for my own use..."; three different unused Registration Envelopes one on GB with 'TWO' crossed-out by hand & 'FOUR' handstamp applied; etc, generally fine to very fine.

BECHUANALAND:REVENUES: 1887-95 documents with various adhesives including 'BRITISH/BECHUANALAND' on CofGH Stamp Act 1/- (and another on a small piece), Green & Lilac Keyplates including on Certificate of Ownership (Land Title) x2 each with £1 strip of 4, & on a part-Deed with £1 x2 + £5 single & block of 4, etc, condition variable but the stamps are very fine, Barefoot (2012) Cat £1450+ just for the stamps. BECHUANALAND- STELLALAND: 1880s documents & pieces with various Postal Fiscals mostly from the 1886 series with Monogram handstamp including a document with 6d 1/6d x2 5/- & 10/- + defective £1, piece with 6d orange x6, piece with Stellaland/British Bechuanaland combination franking, 1/- block of 6 (one damaged) all units with the Monogram Inverted (a rare multiple), etc, Barefoot (2012) Cat £900+ just for the stamps.
