c.1903 Handpainted essay for a booklet, the pink card covers both inscribed "INDIA POSTAGE STAMPS" within a fancy pattern superbly painted in red, folded in the form of an envelope, containing ten blank waxed pages, stapled at the base. A superb and unique essay, reverse with surface scraping at the edges (not affecting the handpainted wording) where this has been removed from an archive page, ex De La Rue archives.
