RARE 1969 "STAMPS FOR COOKS": One of the first of these booklets to be produced - a GPO Development sample. The booklet is stapled and the stamps of every pane except the final one (mixed denominations) have had "SPECIMEN" individually hand stamped on them. Possibly prepared in somewhat of a 'rush' for presentation to the then Postmaster General, Mr John Stonehouse. An unusual variation thus. Perfs. average to good. (Image)
