Group including range of airmail labels some loose but the majority used on cover including 1929 Brisbane-Charleville (autograph h/s), 1934 WASP Narromine flight, Mornington Island parachute mail 1942, 1943 x2, 1946 & 1948 x2, 1947 Rabaul flight, 1949 Hong Kong x2 with red & blue labels repspectively, 1947 London & return with all the above signed by the pilots, plus range of 1950s flights, also 1914 Guillaux PPC with 1d Kangaroo tied by oval d/s in violet & Sydney arrival cds (faults), 1934 Royal Tour autographed, a few baggage labels, etc, condition variable but generally fine to very fine.

1959-89 Collection in two binders, mostly QANTAS flights from 1959 San Francisco & London 707 jet flights with intermediaries & return legs, 1960 Round The World & Japan flights, 1963 Tahiti, 1964 Mexico, etc, all on illustrated covers, a couple of the 1980s with pilot autographs, also a few Ansett flights, New Zealand & Ross Dependency flights, etc, condition generally very fine. 1919 (Nov 12) England-Australia with Ross Smith vignette applied on arrival tied 'FIRST AERIAL MAIL/RECEIVED/ 26FEB1920/GREAT BRITAIN TO AUSTRALIA' oval d/s with another strike alongside AAMC #27, Cat $5250. The cover is tired and tatty, the label has been lifted and re-attached but appears to be complete & fine. Addressed to Dr CN Simmons 'Clifton' Darling Downs (Qld), listed by Tom Frommer in 'The Ross Smith Stamp & Its Postal History' as cover #290. Martin Eichele Certificate (2011).
1920 (July 30) Melbourne-Traralgon flight AAMC #47 with a superb example of the violet/yellow 'HERALD/AERIAL/ DELIVERY' label tied to the face by 'HERALD & WEEKLY TIMES' "clock" cds and KGV 1½d black-brown tied by 'TRARALGON/VIC' arrival cds, Cat $2000 (2009). Most examples seen have faults such as tonespots, surface adhesions etc. Most are also franked with Victorian stamps, this being one of the relatively few correctly rated with the KGV 1½d stamp.
1932 Bridge 3d blue + KSmith 2d red x2 tied to flight-endorsed cover to Germany by Brisbane cds of 19MR32 (FDI for the Bridge set) and United States 15c Air tied by a different Brisbane cds of 28MR32, superb 'FERRY STATION' b/s in purple applied at San Francisco & German 'Mit Luftpost/befordert/Postamt 1 Hannover' cachet in rosine on the face. [Prepayment of US internal airmail fees had been permitted since 1924 but was discontinued by this time. It appears that the GPO clerk cancelled the Australian stamps but referred the cover to a supervisor who, 9 days later, gave approval for the US stamp to be cancelled. The Ferry Station h/s indicates carriage across San Francisco Bay to the airport at Oakland]
1935 (July 18) Last Flight of the "Southern Cross" AAMC #516 with Jubilee 2d cancelled on arrival at 'RICHMOND/NSW' with perforated silver vignette (slight tone on edges) affixed & signed by Charles Kingsford Smith Cat $650 (2008).
1937 Australia Airmail Exhibition perforated M/Ss of 4 labels in red, blue, green-blue or brown, a few minor blemishes but most units are fine unmounted, AAMC #768c, Cat $240.

1947 First Regular Australian Through Air Mail Service pair of covers both with vignette in red/black and 25th Anniversary of First QANTAS Air Mail Service vignette in silver/blue - Sydney to London cover signed by Captains Jackson and MacMaster, London to Sydney cover signed by Captains.
