1873 (May 13) entire headed Foochow with Hong Kong 24c pair & 'B62' cancel and HK MY17/73 backstamp. Letter is from JN Sayce ? writing to her father Germain Nicholson, discussing changing firms in Foochow acknowleging order for tea and suggesting he import opium directly from India rather than from China, she also mentions being in Levuka in 1871. Interesting family correspondence to one of Melbourne's great early merchants. (Image1)
