image 1916 (May 11) PPC from Bremen, Germany, to Bourke Internment Camp (NSW), with boxed 'PASSED BY/CENSOR' and circular 'POST FREE/PC/PRISONER OF WAR' handstamps. Very scarce inwards mail to this small rural camp, which mainly housed German families deported from Straits Settlements, Ceylon, Fiji or Hong Kong plus some local internees. (Image1)
