1934 Victoria Centenary 2d vermilion unauthorised bisect on philatelic cover from Hawthorn to Kew, fine Hawthorn cancel, taxed 2d and 2d PDue applied to face. The fact that the tax was only 2d rather than 4d implies that the bisect was accepted as valid for 1d postage. Most unusual. (Image1)
