image WORLD WAR I - RARE PAIR OF SOLDIER'S ILLUSTRATED ENVS. TO SCOTLAND - both very well rendered and to the same addressee in Glasgow, neither with any postmarks; 1916 env. apparently depicting a member of a French Zouave regiment, signed 'Leo MacKinnon' & 'Salonique 1916' at lower left; and undated env. with fine pencil drawing of a tent and a rifle captioned 'My little brown home in the East' below and 'ON ACTIVE SERVICE' above.
