c.1850-1910 Printed pictorial envelopes comprising c.1850 unused envelope with an engraved view of Port Madoc on the flap; 1862 cover with printed address in rhyme, posted at Nottingham; 1880 Christmas cover with a turkey and comic figures on donkeys, and coloured cover "Babes in the Wood" both posted in London; 1883 cover depicting a royal mail coach with enclosed notepaper showing a comic looking Scottish man, posted in London; 1903 Anglo-Saxon League patriotic cover published in Canada, posted from Ipswich to USA; and 1910 King Edward's Cherished Memory mourning cover probably produced in India, posted from Ilford to India. The Port Madoc and 1903 patriotic covers fine, the others all with faults including staining and tears, an unusual group. (7 + letter).

1903-04 Novelty advertising postcards produced by Liverpool & Knight Co., with applied pictures originally containing pull out advertising leaflets (two now missing) all posted at the ½d rate, two of these with pictures of Chinese men, one of these redirected with an address label and ½d stamp, the enclosed leaflet replaced by a note "First of April", charged 1d with "Contains writing in / the nature of a letter", this card with a few picture faults, otherwise all fine and very unusual. (4).

1908 Junior Philatelic Society Penny Postage to the USA envelope, the unique archival group comprising the initial and final sketches for the envelope by S.R Turner with various notes on the design; drawings for the decorative panels on tracing paper (2); proof of the envelope (endorsed and signed "Proof Pulling, Sept. 1908, Sydney R. Turner" on reverse) with an accompanying letter from F.J Melville to Turner; unused envelope and envelopes postally used on October 1st, first day of the 1d rate, from London to USA (2, one with faults).
