1909 (July 27) Real Photo picture postcard of Bleriot's aircraft surrounded by onlookers and a policeman, posted from Dover just two days after Bleriot's historic cross channel flight, with interesting message "This is the airship that I saw. I have got a stave that was broken off it as a little keepsake. This is a very good photo of it about 50 minutes after it landed". A fine card, by Whorwell of Dover.

1909-10 Picture postcards of planes flying at the 1909 air meetings at Doncaster (2, real Photo cards) or Blackpool, or the 1910 meetings at Shrewsbury (real photo of L.D Gibbs in flight) or Lanark, all postally used with messages concerning the air meeting, the last with "LANARK / GRAND STAND" c.d.s. Also 1913 Robert Sinclair Tobacco Co. First Aerial Delivery label, later air letter stamps (3), and 1937 cover from Lundy Island bearing ½d Atlantic Coast Air Services stamp. (10).

1910 "Empire Illustrated" flight postcards, intended to be flown from Blackpool to Southport by C. Graham-White but only carried for seven miles when the plane was forced to land due to bad weather, the reverse overprinted with an explanation in red. A flown card posted in London (Aug 26) franked ½d, and an unused card, the flown card with two corner creases, the unused card superb and the only unused example we have seen. (2).

1911 Souvenir and Programme of the Great Air Race Circuit of Britain, 1010 mile air race for the Daily Mail £10,000 prize, starting July 22nd 1911, printed by W.E Jefferson & Co of Newcastle. A scarce programme listing the 30 competitors and their planes, the five sections to be flown and the eleven aerodromes at which competitors must land, the race starting and finishing at Brooklands.
