BAVARIA: 1886 cover to "British Burmah" endorsed "via Brindisi" with Arms 20pf 'solo' tied 'NURNBERG/4/3/86' cds, carried via Bombay-Aden Sea Post with fine strike of 'SEA/POST OFFICE/A/MAR.12 86' b/s, 'RANGOON/ MAR23' (no year) arrival on face where re-directed to Mandalay and endorsement altered to "via Prome" for carriage by riverboat north up the Irrawaddy River, small 'RANGOON/MA29/86' and 'MANDALAY/AP2' thimble b/s, couple of minor blemishes. Very early inwards Burmese riverboat mail.
