1668 (Dec 26) Entire letter from St. Stephen (in the Banks) addressed "For Edward Wilson Esq at Dallam Tower these". His nephew, Sir Joseph Otway, writes about the rejection of Wilson's application to the Queen's Council for a lease to Casterton Manor, a decision that evidently took a considerable time as he states it was not due to "the neglect of your sollicitude, or the calamity of the late dreadful fire" (of London, in 1666). Also a print of Edward's stately home, Dallam Tower, near Milnthorpe.
