(slightly grubby) from "YORK/U.C." (faint cds) where "7½" & "PAID" hs's applied (pre payment for Canadian steamers, however was carried by Cunard 'PS Niagara'), "MORE TO PAY" & 2[d]" (postage due) applied on arrival at Liverpool; and 1862 stampless env. to Glasgow with fine red "MONTREAL/PAID/AU20/1862/CANADA" ds, rated "17[c]" in red with red "PAID" hs adjacent converted to "8" on arrival at Liverpool. Mainly on Nova Scotia QV 12½c (9, SG17), but also 5c (2, SG12) & 8½c (1, SG14), and Newfoundland 6d orange (SG14, 2-margins - just) cancelled "A95" & New Brunswick 1c Locomotive (SG7?) cancelled "A97".
