image EARLY USED & PLATE PROOF MISCELLANY: Group on stock cards including 1851-60 1d red-brown bisected on piece, 3d blue (shade) on piece and 3d blue (shade) bisected on piece. All with good margins. Also, 1860 5c value in two plate proofs in black on thin, bright white paper, one of these diagonally optd. "SPECIMEN" in carmine (Unitrade 10TC & 10TCiii). Both fine with good margins. A further plate proof group inc. 8½c in black (Uni 11TC) on thin card (no margins, some damage) and green (Uni 11P); 10c in black (Uni 12TC) (damage to top left corner); and 12½c in green (Uni 13TCvi); all optd.
