Canada: Nova Scotia: 1851-37 3d. strip of three, one bisected, good to large margins all round, paying 71/2d. rate on envelope to Glasgow, tied by oval grid cancellations with red tombstone "PKT.LETTER/PAID/LIVERPOOL/ NO 16/A57*" alongside, fine "MAITLAND Co. HANTS/OC 30/1857/N.S." despatch, Glasgow Nov. 16 arrival and W.H. Brouse, Toronto handstamps on reverse, very slight soiling but attractive and a rare franking.
