Qantas collection in five large albums, the first 1½ albums are largely photocopies of covers up until WWII but includes modern copies of early photos, Ticket No 1 facsimile, 1945 Ceylon-Aust 1st Liberator flight, Mornington Island Parchute Mails x5, re-opening flights including to & from PNG, Hong Kong & Dutch Indies, 1949 1st Second Class Airmail to GB at 2/6d with the original contents (rare thus), some pilot-signed; then an array of Coronation covers & aerogrammes, international route extensions to 1987, etc, plus a selection of non-Qantas items including 1934 Royal Visit flight pilot-signed & 1935 'Southern Cross' with silver label & seven autographs; STC $6000 approximately. Balance of collection focussing on the airmail labels with a wide variety of types with some scarce ones including on a range of commercial and philatelic covers, noted registered to USA with 1934 Centenary Air Race Imperf label, an empty Qantas booklet, Wing Commander Goble in magenta, Narromine 'Wasp' sheetlet (**), 1948 Mornington Island parachute mail, etc, also 1914 Guillaux PPC with 1d Kangaroo tied by oval d/s in violet & Sydney arrival cds (faults), etc. Ex Art Groten.

1920 Velvet Soap advertising card dropped by Graham Carey during his promotional flight on 3rd August 1920 over Melbourne in his Maurice Farman Shorthorn biplane AAMC #47c, illustrations on front and back include two views of the aeroplane as well as the J Kitchen & Sons (Port Melbourne) soap factory, unusually fine with just a couple of very minor blemishes, Cat $3000. Possibly the finest known of the few examples recorded; sold at a Melbourne auction in 2003 for $3220. Ex 'Tillie Mitchell'.
1929 Adelaide-Perth scarce ephemera comprising two Plume Motor Oil/Mobiloil advertising cards, 1.6.1929 menu for the commemorative dinner in Adelaide, 'USE/THE AIR MAIL/...' brochure printed in Perth, and lovely 'Today - ADELAIDE/Tonight/FORREST/Tomorrow/PERTH' brochure.
