Newfoundland. 1910 Printed card with the British and Newfoundland flags, headed "NEWFOUNDLAND 1610 - 1910", the set of eleven 300th Anniversary stamps applied above the printed wording "Issue of Newfoundland stamps to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the earliest settlement in the British Empire made in Conception Bay Newfoundland in June 1610, with the Compliments of the Government of Newfoundland", signed by the Prime Minister E. Morris. The reverse bears an attached printed letter sent from the Strand Palace Hotel in London forwarding a set of the stamps with each described, with an arrival cachet of the British Trade Commissioner in Montreal. A few minor tone spots, otherwise fine, an unusual and attractive item, 292x241mm.

1897 Printed Christmas card in the form of a folded up letter tied by string with a central seal depicting a Robin and imitation cancel, containing printed greetings and pictures of dressed up Robins, posted from Moncton to a girl at the Convent of the Presentation at Hyacinth franked 1c (corner torn away prior to use), squared circle arrival backstamp, a few minor edge stains, attractive and unusual.
