image St. Kitts-Nevis and St. Lucia, Collection, 1860-1964, an old-time collection that yields delights on every page, all neatly mounted or hinged on homemade, annotated quadrille pages; material mainly through the first Queen Elizabeth II issues, with much identified by Scott and/or Gibbons number; St. Kitts-Nevis highly complete for the King Edward VII era, with 1903 First Issue complete, the shilling values mint (plus a 5s "SPECIMEN"), plus second issue mint and used and duplicated with shades; King George V spotty, but holding picks up again with King George VI with paper, perforation and plate types noted; Queen Elizabeth II with First Issue First Day Covers and plate number blocks of 4; St. Lucia so pretty you'll sing like Pavarotti; extensive Queen Victorias starting with #1-3 (#1 mint, others used) with #4-14 complete (many duplicated, with shades), #15 (3 mint, including a pair), 17 (4; 1 used, plus single and pair mint), #23 used, 25 mint; 1883-98 Frame issues through the 10s identified by Die (all shilling values mint, plus a 1s used single and mint block of 4), ½d bisects (pair used, single on piece, mint block of 4); King Edward VII to the 5s; King George V imprint blocks; King George VI paste-up joins on #135a and 136a; Queen Elizabeth II First Issue First Day Covers and plate or imprint blocks; Dues, etc., etc., Fine to Very Fine with much better throughout, an uncommonly nice collection; imaged in full online. image St. Kitts-Nevis, Mint and Used Collection, 1861-1964, comprising St. Christopher with 1870 watermarked Crown CC perf 12½ 1d (5) o.g. and perf 14 1d (3) and 2½d (3) o.g.; 1882-90 watermarked Crown CA 6d and 1sh o.g. and 1½d lilac rose and 2½d red brown used; 1884-88 surcharges (11) with "Half Penny" on 1d unsevered pair used, and "Four Pence" on 1d o.g. and used on superb piece; Nevis with 1861 bluish wove paper 4d and 6d used; 1861 grayish wove paper 1d unused and 6d and 1sh used; 1867 perf 15 1sh yellow green corner example cancelled "A09" (to order?); 1882-90 De La Rue 1d violet, 2½d red brown and 1sh mint (the 2½d no gum) and 1883 surcharges ½d on half 1d used (4, with violet surcharge pair used on small piece); and St. Kitts-Nevis with 1920-29 ½d to £1 basically complete mint, and 1923 Caravel in Old Road ½d to 2sh6d mint; a few faults among earlier issues, overall Fine to Very Fine.
