image Great Britain, 1840, Mulready Envelope, 1d black (Scott U1), stereo A132, canceled with a black Maltese Cross with a mostly clear Prescot c.d.s., May 27, 1841, at the lower left, to The Strand, London, with just a trace of the red London Chief Office receiver showing on the reverse, since all four corners of the envelope have been clipped; interestingly the letter itself, ordering some print publications, is written on the inside of the envelope in the manner of a letter sheet, Fine, includes a custom Exhibition page.
