Fitzgerald & Co', Queen Victoria Chalon engraving at top centre, Lion and Unicorn at sides, allegorical Justice at left, American Bald Eagle vignette and 'Toppan,Carpenter,Casilear &Co, New York, Phila' imprint at base (later to become The American Banknote Company), a few pin holes, VF. Very Scarce. Adams Express withdrew from Melbourne following their San Fransisco bankruptcy in February 1855. (Image1)
