Louis XVI Signed Letter from 1774 ordering the release of a prisoner from the Tower of Crest, countersigned by Minister Henri Leonard Jean Baptiste Bertin. Letter is in excellent condition, in archival frame. Letter reads as follows Monsignor, I'm writing you this letter, to tell you my intention is that you let SIr Etienne get out of my Tower of Crest's held there under my previous orders tha I now revoke; after that you will have to pay whatever possible for his pension; With that, I pray to God that He has Monseigneur in His Holy guard.
