image EXTENSIVE JAPAN NEW ISSUE ACCUMULATION, includes hundred and hundreds of mint singles, sets and S/S's, all are in the new issue glassines and then jam packed into a large carton, it appears the collector was accumulating all the issues from about 2000 to 2010 with some later and a few earlier, quantities generally in the 1-2 of each set/ SS but there are some up to ten, all appear to be NH and as received from the new issue service, most of the glassines are marked with the new issue cost but about 1/3 is not, we have figured/estimated the collectors total new issue cost exceeds $30,000 based on the glassine numbers, given catalog value is generally twice the face value it is likely the total catalog value should exceed $50,000, there are many popular topicals in this group and also some that have become better over the years, there is a fair amount of work to do with this lot but again a huge amount of value and certainly a huge amount of total retail value if broken down into individual sets, without question the biggest and most valuable Japan new issue lot we have ever offered, viewing this one will be helpful to the serious bidder, (ENV 10,000-12,500) (Image)

image CLASSIC JAPAN HIGH VALUE INVENTORY, includes several hundred mixed mint and used, neatly arrange in a Lighthouse stock book, the group runs to 1913, the overall condition is mixed and there are faults to be expected but there are also many sound Very Fine stamps here, also we noticed a number of better cancels in the used sections, values up to about $500 with a few higher and there is a significant amount of value in items in the $100-500 range, expect duplication with the mint generally in the 1-4 range with some higher and 1-10 in the used also with some up to 20 or more, many of the mint stamps have gum after 1875, there is a significant number of speciality items here with shade varieties and various Syllabic's, this impressive and powerful inventory is one of the best Japan stocks we have ever offered, this book is the first of the entire inventory which is offered elsewhere in this sale, we have scanned virtually every page and those images are available on our website, viewing this lot in person will be a huge advantage to the serious bidder, a really important stock not to be missed (Image)

image MINT AND USED JAPAN INVENTORY, includes several thousand mixed mint and used singles, multiples, sets and some S/S's, neatly arrange in ten Lighthouse stock books, the group runs from 1914 to 1990 and includes some B.O.B. material, the overall condition is mixed and there are faults to be expected but there are also many sound Very Fine stamps here, most of the mint is NH after 1930, values up to about $300 with a few higher and there is a significant amount of value in items in the $50-150 range, expect duplication with the mint generally in the 1-6 range with some higher and 1-10 in the used also with some up to 20 or more and the issues get more recent, viewing this lot in person will be a huge advantage to the serious bidder, a really great opportunity for the dealer or internet retailer especially since an incredible amount of work has already been done to put this inventory together, there are a couple duplicate stockbooks of earlier material which have been added to this lot although not much value in these two books, well worth a good look (Image)
