Rasdale Stamp Company Sale: 450

Asia
Philippines
Sale No: 450
Lot No: 371
Symbol: */^
Cat No: Collection

image The most complete Philippines collection we have ever handled. The main collection is housed in nine sparkling Palo deluxe hingeless albums. 99.9% complete for the pages that start in 1856 and are complete through 2019. Thousands of mainly mint stamps collected over a lifetime. Missing only some of the rarities. The former owner abhorred an empty space so every once an a while he would put a picture or a facsimile of a rare stamp until he could get the real one. We have turned these over or removed the dozen or so we saw. Tremendous power, almost complete coverage. We kept his duplicate collection with the original and included his 'to do" stuff with the lot. A legacy collection to say the least. All true philatelists would be proud to own such a collection.
