Carton of mostly post-WWII issues to 1975 in two 'Utile' springback albums, on pages & in packets, we noted some Sri Pashupati issues, then largely complete mint including 1949 Pictorials, 1954 Maps 50p & 2r, 1957 Crowns, 1960 Children's Day sheetlet of 4 **, similar used array plus numerous First Day Covers & a few commercial covers, also a stockbook of mostly blocks, some full sheets, lots of thematic content, a photograph of King Mahendra signed by him "Mahendra/Nepal/1970", and some strays, generally very fine.

POSTAL HISTORY: Collection remainders including a badly defective 1876 registered from India with superb 'NEPAL/FEB:20' arrival (no year; month before day), 1881 unpaid & taxed from India with very fine 'NEPAL/1 FEB:' cds (no year; day before month), a batch of prestamp or unstamped covers with a variety of seals &/or postmarks, KGV & Sri Pashupati groups, post-WWII commercial airmails but some with philatelic frankings, condition rather mixed.

POSTAL HISTORY: c.1959 official cover with Officials 12p orange-red SG O139 x4 tied to the reverse by a largely very fine cds that we have not identified, the face with a largely superb strike of a fantastic wholly intaglio 'telephone' datestamp (37x34mm) on the face, light vertical fold clear of the stamps & the telephone. A rare & extraordinary postmark. [Hellrigl & Hepper attribute the telephone datestamps to telegraphic purposes only: see pages 59-61. This handstamp differs from both those shown at page 60: the inscriptions are more elaborate & there is a circle within a star at the right of the handset]

POSTAL STATIONERY: Annotated pages with Postal Cards comprising 2½p scarlet Group Wa2 and 5 x2, all unused; as Wa7 but with Text Same Length as Ornament & not listed thus, unused; Wa9 used c.1892 with large-part Kathmandu killer Type II, Cat US$275 (1995); and Wa12 used with superb Kathmandu killer Type III with fine cds of 13.12.1894, Cat US$300 (1995); Sri Pashupati-in-Oval 2p brown x2, used; 1959 Crown 4p brown, unused & CTO; and Envelopes Sri Pashupati-in-Oval 4p green & 8p scarlet both with pointed flaps, unused; then later issues with used Registration Envelope & a nice range of Aerogrammes including a couple of formulars and several items postally used; generally very fine. References are to 'Nepal Postal Stationery' by Dick van der Wateren (1995).
REVENUES: c.1910 Land Court 2r bright yellow-green (65x67mm) sheetlet of one with huge margins (89x92mm) Barefoot #2, unused, Cat £250 (2006, appartently still the current edition). Massive! and illustrated at almost actual size.
REVENUES: 1932 single-page court (?) document with several small seals & a largely very fine strike of the humungous seal (121x100mm) of the Prime Minister & Commander-in-Chief Juddha Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana featuring Mount Everest & partly inscribed in English & dated '1932', folds & minor blemishes.
