image Original Japan selection from the 1880s to 1959 in a medium box. Hundreds and hundreds of mint and used stamps mounted on blank pages in two binders. Includes mint and used stamps in full, partial sets, singles, souvenir, and some full sheets having some joyful backup. Appears the late 1940s material was purchased directly from the post office probably by military personnel stationed there. Difficult to find an original holding from this country in today’s philatelic market. Examination recommended. (Image)
