Livingston 19-21), with additional 10c on 25c, all single frankings, canceled by "Local Post Office/Amoy/A" c.d.s. on four 1897 (Jan. 24-Feb. 6) red-band envelopes to Shanghai, showing "To Pay" straight-line handstamp in red adjacent; two of the covers were mailed on Feb. 6 and, therefore, are important uses, demonstrating that the Amoy Local Post Office remained open after Feb. 2, 1897, when the Chinese Imperial Post Office required that the Local Post Offices close and cease operations, Fine to Very Fine.
