1885-1949 MINT & USED COLLECTION: Springback album with a collection from 1885 'small dragons' (6, all used) through to the many different printings of the 1949 Sun Yat Sen 'gold yuan' series, most of the latter being present in mint blocks of 4. It is noted that most of the mint issues are heavily hinged, but should be salvable with the use of a 'stamp lifter' fluid or similar. Good range of early 20th. C. used issues, typically up to $1, $2 or $5 values. Commem. sets inc. 1923 Constitution set both mint & used, 1929 Chiang Kai Shek set to $1 used, 1929 Memorial set to $1 used, 1932 Sven Hedin Scientific Expedition set of 4 in mint pairs (heavily hinged), 1936 'New Life' set to $1 used, 1936 Postal Service Anniv. set to $1 used, etc. Collection continues with the many issues of the 1945-49 period (no Japanese occupation opts.), many in mint and used blocks of four.
