POSTAL HISTORY: 1930s-40s to Western Australia comprising airmails x4 including 1939 endorsed "Via Hong Kong per S/S Conte Verde thence by IAL [Imperial Air Lines]", 1947 (circa) with Sun Yat Sen overprints and 'HONG KONG' transit b/s, and 1948 with Sun Yat Sen $10,000 pair & $50,000 strip of 3, plus 1938 surface rate to Perth, condition mixed.

POSTAL HISTORY: 1934 (June) pre-printed 'PAR AVION' airmail envelope to Guangzhou (Canton) endorsed via airmail to Wuhan and onwards by train, franked on back with Szechwan overprints Junk 1c orange & Sun Yat Sen 5c green x5 plus un-overprinted Airmail 45c plane tied 'PAHSIEN/(CHUNGKING)' bi-lingual d/s, 'CANTON' arrival d/s alongside, a few minor blemishes.
POSTAL HISTORY: 1949 (Jan) airmail to Walliston, Western Australia with Sun Yat Sen Gold Yuan overprints '$10.00' on $2 pale brown (torn before affixing) on face and '$1.00' on 30c brown block of 4 and '$2.00' on $20 carmine pair on back all tied by characters d/s from a village in Guandong Province, red letter agent chop on back, a few blemishes & slightly shortened at right not affecting stamps or markings.
POSTAL HISTORY: 1950 (July) airmail to Walliston, Western Australia with Train Unit Stamp orange '500' overprint x5 (including two pairs) and Gate of Heavenly Peace (Tien An Men) First Printing $1000 lilac pair & $5000 pink pair all on face tied by characters d/s from a village in Guandong Province, '50.7.22/CANTON' transit b/s, minor blemishes.
POSTAL HISTORY: 1952 (July) airmail to Walliston, Western Australia with Gate of Heavenly Peace (Tien An Men) First Printing $5000 pink pair, Second Printing $1000 lilac and Third Printing $2000 olive all on face tied by characters d/s from a village in Guandong Province, '52.12.13/CANTON' transit b/s, a few blemishes and slightly shortened at right not affecting stamps or markings.
