1905 (circa) Robert Jolley Undivided Backs 'set' (?) of twelve vignette-view cards with State Emblems, two from each State comprising Sydney City & Harbour, Brisbane (2), Adelaide City & Exhibition Building, Hobart (warship) & Launceston (bridge), Melbourne (2) and Perth (2), a few minor corner bends otherwise very fine unused.

AUSTRALIAN STATES - VICTORIA: 1911 JC Bartlett real photo card 'Our Lady's School/Barkly St, North Fitzroy' with horse-drawn buggy in the foreground & adults queuing to enter the building, local Melbourne usage. One of the best suburban cards we have seen. [We expect the occasion was the formal opening, tho we were unable to confirm any details about the school]
AUSTRALIAN STATES - VICTORIA: 1915 Turner & Sons (Melbourne & Sydney) 'Remember Belgium Series/Patriotic Postcards 1914-1915' three different 'German Culture in Belgium' showing destruction in Louvain x2 & Barcy, and '...Palais de Justice, Liege. Now used as Stables for German Horses', unused.

AUSTRALIAN STATES - VICTORIA: 1901 real photo card of a crowd gawking at a train partly submerged in a viaduct, inscribed on the plate 'R McGEEHAN PRAHRAN', apparently sent in a transparent envelope requiring payment of 2d letter rate to New Zealand. [This is a famous photograph commonly seen on PPCs but this is the first time we have seen the original print]
1908 VISIT OF THE AMERICAN FLEET: Range including very fine full set of the Ships of the Fleet in blue plus many other coloured types including hand-tinted real photo types, many with insets of commanding officers, several beautiful WTM cards & some we haven't seen before including a few from the continuation of the voyage to Japan, a few with damaged corners but generally fine to very fine.
