POSTAL HISTORY: 1935 (June 4) registered all-up airmail cover (266x113mm) to a dealer in South Africa with remarkable franking of Silver Jubilee 2d pair, 3d single & block of 4 and 2/- single plus two blocks of 4 + KGV 1d green all tied by 'REGISTERED/SYDNEY NSW' cds, blue/white R label tied by 'LATE/FEE' h/s, Egyptian transit b/s & 'REGISTERED/JOHANNESBURG' arrival cds on the face, trivial blemishes. Spectacular! [The rate was 2/9d or 33d per ounce x7 for an article weighing between 3 & 3½oz + 1d late fee + 3d registration = 235d = 19/9d so shortpaid 1d! Probably the highest recorded franking of the 2/-]
