[Stated to be Ex Australia Post Archives but no CTO examples were released in the 1987 & 1988 sales by tender. They are more likely to be from the stock of Millers, the Melbourne firm that assembled the CTO/Specimen packs for sale at the GPO]

SIX PENCE: 6d maroon complete sheet of 120 with full margins & imprints plus complete Plate 'No 3' at the top, light attractive tinting of the paper, minor blemishes in the margins otherwise of spectacular appearance & attractively mounted with large Mylar corners behind perspex, Cat $18,300++ for the four imprint blocks of 8 plus 88 singles, or $37,000++ if all units are unmounted. The only complete sheet recorded by us, and a magnificent showpiece. [The ACSC doesn't list any plate varieties for this stamp. However, considering the large number of retouches & re-entries on the 1d plates, we expect that studying this sheet for varieties would be a very worthwhile exercise]
A note from conservator Lowanna Cumming specifies the method of mounting the sheet using archival-grade products & states the frame is "inert acrylic" & "Mylar corners hold the bottom of the stamp sheet in place, but are not attached to the stamp sheet".
