ca. 1851 (Feb. 20), Outer folded letter sheet sent from Sacramento City to San José, CA, light blue folded letter sheet bearing light but complete strike of 36-mm "Sacramento City/20/FEB/Cal." postmark with italic "5" rate marking at right; an apparent variety of this 1851-56 postmark, with day over month (ASCC images only the American-style month over day dater), Very Fine, an interesting and pristine item worthy of research.
