image SG PRINTED 'CROWN' ALBUM FOR KGVI ISSUES: The well filled album with the mint (predominantly) and used British Commonwealth collection. Missing some of the difficult, highly catalogued issues incl. 1937 Burma, Bahrain, Indian States, Falklands, Kuwait, NZ Postal Fiscals/Officials, New Guinea, etc. but otherwise, a solid collection with room for expansion. Appears fairly complete for 1948 RSW sets incl. HK & Singapore, and we note additional pages/sections for perf. varieties of Ascension, Gibraltar, etc. Viewing recommended. (Very many 100s) (Image)

image INTERNATIONAL GOLD MEDAL WINNING 'ROSES' THEMATIC COLLECTION: Three box files housing the 120+ display pages with the superbly presented collection of stamps, proofs, Postal stationery, cards & covers, etc. Although some items have been removed, there remains a valuable collection for improving or breaking down. Sharon, Pennsylvania, Rose, Oklahoma (this on an illustrated 'Mother's Day' env.), Rose Lawn, Indiana, Red Rose, Alabama, etc. Of particular note, a superb 13 Sep. 1863 cover with 'Amherst Rose' cancellation - a rare cancel with restricted usage. We note a very fine range of mainly German, early 19th. C. privately produced Postal stationery cards with colourful rose related imagery. Also a small range of GB QV 1d pink printed envs. and 1839 Whiting essay. A fine trio of early covers from Rhodes to France plus Austrian PO in Levant issues. Better stamps include NSW 1861 5/- optd.
