image 1850 6 CUARTOS BLACK - PLATING STUDY: Binder (written up in Italian) with the study of 1850 6c black SG 1. Includes Pl. 1 partial reconstruction and 2 reconstructions (40 stamps) of Pl. 2. Varieties on individual stamps identified, with more interesting cancels identified e.g. red, blue, first month c.d.s., etc. Lot also includes quantities of 1851 6c black SG 9 & 15, 1852 6c red SG 16 & 21 and 1853 6c red SG 22, etc. Fine used, mainly 4 margin examples throughout. image BARCELONA LOCAL TAX STAMPS & 3rd PAN-AM PUC PROOFS, IMPERFS., ETC: 1929-45 A good collection of Barcelona local tax stamps from various issues inc 1929 Exposition set of 5c (6) mint & used with one on cover, 1932-35 issue inc two on cards and two on cover. Also later issues inc examples on cover or card. Mostly fine. A collection worthy of closer examination. (c.10 cards/covers & 95 stamps). Also 1931 Air 5c to 4p, unmounted mint imperforate gummed marginal plate proofs. Fine. SG 707 to 712 (6): Also a selection of gummed numerals & 'El Cid' imperforate plate proofs c.1940 - c1949 with 2c brown, numeral vertical pair (SG 876), 5c sepia horizontal pair and two marginal singles & 10c pale carmine vertical pair. Also 1949 War Victim Relief 5c violet horizontal pair and corner single. Fine. (Image)
