FREE FRONTS early collection: handsome, large ½-leather bound album dated 1824 containing a collection of free fronts c1800-28 with signatures of Georgian politicians and a variety of 'FREE' d/stamps, many with additional postal markings, pasted four to a page on one side only. Fine original collection with handwritten index booklet. Although a few have been removed in the past there are approximately 650+ signed fronts with English, Scottish, Irish aristocracy, military & political figures, famous 19thC autographs of Wellesley family (possible Duke of Wellington) and Duke of Marlborough & Northumberland etc. Well worth viewing.
