image Persia, ca. 1889, 5sh Paris Typographed, on domestic cover from Mashhad to Hamedan (Scott 75), the stamp, decently centered for this poorly printed issue, tied by one of two Meched/24/8 c.d.s.'s; Tehran transit receiver of 29/8 also just ties the stamp; cover departed Tehran 2/9, with Hamadan 5/9 receiver on front; missing top left corner, Fine to Very Fine.

image Persia, ca. 1891, 5sh Vienna Typographed, on domestic cover to Hamedan (Scott 83), the adhesive, beautifully centered, tied by one of two 26/7 town daters, the name indistinct (possibly Kermanshahan, an alternative spelling of Kerman), with Hamadan [2]8/7 receiver on front; addressed in a lovely violet ink, light lower left corner damage of no consequence, Fine to Very Fine.
