RAREST USED KGVI POSTAL STATIONERY ITEM? - TETE-BECHE 1d+½d BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICE LETTER-SHEET; Very fine 26 Sept. 1952 outward usage (to Bradwell "via Sheffield") of the complete twin "National Blood Transfusion Service" outward + return letter-sheet (tea-cup? circle stain on reverse of outward half) with ½d Orange + 1d Red stamps cancelled by a very fine Bakewell/Derbyshire machine cancel, with the ½d Orange + 1d Red return half still attached and unused. The contents are a third urgent request to give blood and mentions the free bus to Bamford that will be available. This is Baker/Huggins CS125 (classified as Official s.t.o. reply-card) of which only one or two other examples have been recorded; it is apparently missing from most of the great Postal Stationery collections.
