Includes good range of 1948/49 Postal Stationary cards, some quite scarce; Many Air Mails to UK & USA from same period, demonstrating a range of postal rates; 1950s commercial selection incl, many Exhibition & slogan cancels, examples of currency control mail, inflation mail, meter mail, etc. We note a specially engraved proof sheet by Csezlaw Slania. Based on the 1928 Pilsudski issue the engraving was produced for the 50th Anniv. of the Polonus Philatelic Society of Chicago and printed in Stockholm on gloss surfaced thick white paper c.115 x 76mm.
