FANCY GOLD-DECORATED EMBOSSED 'LADY'S' ENVELOPE USED WITH 1841 1d RED; 13 Feb. 1852 (faint cds on reverse) small embossed fancy floral design envelope additionally decorated by sender with gold painting over the embossing (traces of other colours too), beautifully addresses to a "Miss Catharine Dixon... Old Brampton" (a small Derbyshire village near Chesterfield) with 1841 1d Red (barely touched to wide margins) tied by the Chesterfield "186" Numeral with a faint blue "CHESTERFIELD" cds on the reverse beside large part fancy red/silver floral wafer seal. Good Valentine usage and a very rare example of a gold-decorated cover.
