Siam Used in Kedah. 1883 1s Yellow-ochre with straight line "KEDAH" cancel between bars, generally considered to be bogus, though very scarce; and stamps with the first type 28mm Kedah c.d.s comprising 1887-91 1a vertical strip of five and a single, 2a (7), 3a (2), 4a (3), 8a (2, one creased), 12a (faults), 1898-99 2a on 64a, 3a on 12a (thin), 4a on 12a (2, one thinned), 1899-1904 8a, several 1887-91 issue stamps a little faded, a good group. 1903 (Oct. 19) Double length panoramic postcard "Panorama of Kedah" posted to Penang franked 1899-1904 4a carmine cancelled by fine "KEDAH" 24mm c.d.s, a second strike at the left. Redirected to England with a message added and reposted at Penang franked Straits KEVII 3c, deemed liable to letter rate so handstamped triangular framed "T", a ½d charge mark applied in the London Foreign Branch.
