Untidy collection of several hundred mint and used stamps housed in an album, a somewhat eccentric presentation with 19th and early 20th century issues recurring through the book, so more here than first meets the eye, with Gibraltar ovpts first issues incl. #1 mint x2 and used, the pence and cents QV issues, KEVII mint 1/-, KGV to 2/- mint (signed), KGVI pictorials to 1/- mint and 5/- types used with a good possibility of better perfs, then many QEII mint sets and souvenir sheets into the 2000s. Great Britain 19th century issues, 6 line-engraved and 9 surface-printed, showing Gibraltar usages, including 1d red on piece and 2d blue plates, 1855/57 4d on piece and 6d with 'G' postmarks, 1865/73 4d vermilion wing-margin pair on piece tied by 'A26', wing-margin 1872 6d pale buff similarly tied on piece, etc. A most attractive group in superb quality.
