French Colonies: French Indian Settlements: 1845 to 1852, a group of covers all with boxed "PONDICHERY/Paid" (Giles type 10) and "INDIA PAID" crescent, two to Bordeaux, four to Marseilles and one to Nantes, also 1853 cover to Paris with Giles type 10 and 1879 (Nov. 28) entire to Marseille bearing General Issues 1871-76 25c. pair (right stamp showing broken frame but with scissor cut) tied Pondichery c.d.s's, endorsed "per Bombay & Brindisi".
