1854 (April): Recess by Gillet 5 c. chocolate, a gorgeous horizontal strip of three in a deep vibrant shade with good to large margins all round, used on April 7, 1854 cover from Santiago to Valparaiso, the multiple tied by three light strikes of target handstamp with SANTIAGO despatch cds in red alongside. Horizontal file fold just mentioned accuracy, not distracting at all from this phenomenal multiple on the desirable cover, said to be the largest chocolate multiple on cover. Signed E. Diena & R.
