1931 (June 30) R.A.F. Borneo Tour, cover to "L.A.C. Blackburn, 205 (Flying Boat) Squadron, R.A.F. Seletar Singapore", blue "BY AIR MAIL" label with "TO SINGAPORE" added in manuscript, franked 1c to 50c (eleven different stamps, seven on reverse) each cancelled Brunei c.d.s. Carried by the fourth stage flight which left Brunei on July 1st, the fifth stage flight to Kuching, and the sixth stage flight left Kuching on July 5th, backstamped on arrival in Singapore (July 7, 7.30AM Sarawak mails from this flight were backstamped at 8AM). Tiny mails carried, no more than about five covers recorded from any stage of this flight, a Brunei Air Mail rarity. Photo on Page 88. (Image1)
