(as #424b) and 2019 P.S.E. certificates,
An interesting (and valuable) result of changing production methods. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing at the time was converting from perf 12 to perf 10 machinery, with the unintended effect that limited quantities of 1¢ 2¢ and 5¢ issues were run through differently set machines, resulting in these mixed-perforation items. Scott $8,000 as Fine-Very Fine Suggested Bid $7,500-10,000 (Image)
