image Russia and Area Advanced Collection of the 1857 to 1922 Issues, all neatly displayed and extensively written-up on home made pages filling two binders. A very detailed collection including a wide variety of shades, laid paper types, perforations, some postmark interest, and also includes some postal stationery. The stamps are a mix of mint and used, and often we see one of each, and includes some never hinged material. As well as the regular issues of Russia, we note a good showing of Offices in China, Offices in Turkey, Revenue stamps, propaganda and cinderella stamps, South Russia, Georgia, Batum, Crimea, Offices in the Levant, Army of the North West, Western Army, Armenia, Army of the North, Siberia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Far Eastern Republic, Control stamps, and more. We cannot attest to the authenticity of some stamps, so we recommend a close view of our scans or even better, try to view this extensive collection in person to better appreciate all that has not been scanned. image Seychelles and Mauritius Mint Never Hinged Collection, 1935 to 1987 and more. An extensive Seychelles and Zil Eloigne MNH collection very close to complete to 1987 plus 9 sets and 2 souvenir sheets of later issues. Not counted in the valuation are 11 booklets formed from various late 1970s and early 1980s issues, as well as specimen overprints on the Diana wedding and the Postage Due issues. The first B.I.O.T. issue Scott 1-12 is also included. CV for this section is $2,492. The Mauritius MNH collection also goes from 1935 to 1988 but is less complete. It is nevertheless quite interesting, comprising all definitive sets from the period. We noted the George VI set Scott 211-222 and 235-249 (CV $207). A final extra is a group of mostly bird-related 8 sets and 9 souvenir sheets from the Maldives Islands between 1950 and 2010. Very fine. (Image)
