image Aland and Finland Collection of About 300 First Day Covers, 1972 to 1977, in two cover albums with 1984 first day cancels from all over Aland and Finland, plus another group of about 140 loose covers. The latter group includes franking labels and covers with gutter pairs. The 19 gutter pair covers include Aland Facit #s 4-7, 10-13, 15 (x2), 19-22, 23 (x2) and 24-25, and which catalogue $1,705 Swedish Kroner (approx. $250 CAD). This is a scarce group, all very fine and well worth reviewing the online photos which provide an overview. (Image)

image Germany (Berlin) 1948 First Issue Set on Two Registered Covers, with both covers franked with a complete set, missing the 6pf, but with an extra 2pf value. Mailed Charlottenburg on OCT.10.1948 and OCT.19.1948 and both addressed to New York, with receivers on back. Both covers are signed in pencil by expert Bloch, and very fine. SG #43 better plate numbers on cover include 195, 204 (x2), 212 and 217 (x2). Also note some squared circle and other postmark interest throughout.
