image 1890 Small Queen Cover to Queensland, Forwarded to Hong Kong, mailed from Spanish River, Ontario (Algoma Co.) on NOV.28.1890 (broken circle on front) to a Mr. Rennie in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia through Montréal (DEC.1 backstamp), Windsor (DEC.2 backstamp) and San Fransisco (DEC.7 backstamp), received in Brisbane on JAN.14.1891 (on front, plus partial backstamp). The cover has some manuscript markings on front reading "Try Qland Club", "Not at Club, 14-1-91" and "Try Hong Kong China". It also received a boxed "NOT KNOWN BY / LETTER CARRIER" and a boxed "Non Réclamé / Unclaimed" both on front. There is a small Hong Kong MAY.2.1891 datestamp on back proving that they did attempt to deliver it there. The cover finally ended up in the Canadian Dead Letter Office on AUG.17, 1891 (three back stamps).
