We note a few nice used items but the majority is mint with many NH stamps. Also includes a few stock sheets with mainly blocks and plate blocks of items purchased with the intent of mounting in the collection. Starts off with a set of singles plus blocks of the previous Coronation issues, followed by singles and blocks of the Long Coronation, with many perforation varieties (comb and or line), plus some Unitrade-listed varieties including the "fish hook" on 1c (in an upper left corner block of 9), a strip of 3 of the 1c with middle stamp unwatermarked, "double oval" re-entry on a 7c single and in a block, "extra smoke stack" in a block of 4 of the 20c, etc. Overall clean and very fine. Collection of Interesting Postmarks on 1877 to 1896 Issues, with a group of 16 stamps postmarked with the "235 in grid" (Lacelle 175, recorded used in St John's from Apr.1873 to Feb.1888), as well as a few rouletted issues including a gorgeous 3c with target plus a 3c and 5c each with "2" rate handstamps. Also noted a 1c grey brown Prince of Wales with a St John NB "1" in grid duplex, a group of 5c Harp Seals, one with a Québec City 1891 duplex, one with a Portsmouth England "625" in grid, a nice segmented cork of squares (first we've seen) and others.
